Transfers

I charge $20.00 for up to three firearms. Add an additional 13.00 for any handguns (for the state handgun background check fee) and an additional 5.00 for multiple handguns. (handguns only)

Edge Metalworks is happy to transfer your firearm to you from an out of state seller. I will accept shipments from both FFL's and non-licensees. I do not provide a copy of our FFL to non-licensees as they can verify my license using the ATF's FFL EzCheck, enter 3-39-xxx-xx-xx-05365. I do require non-licensees to include a copy of their driver's license so that I can accurately record in my bound book the source of the firearm, and comply with ATF regulations.

If the FBI NICS denies the transfer, the buyer has several choices:

• I will hold the firearm while the buyer appeals the denial. If the buyer files the appeal within 30 days of the denial, no storage fees will accrue as I will not penalize buyers for the government's delays. If the buyer does not file the appeal within 30 days I will charge a storage fee of $10 (ten dollars) per week to store the firearm. Once the storage fees have exceeded 50% of the firearm's value I will sell the firearm, deduct our storage fees, and return the remainder to the buyer
• Arrange with the seller for the return of the firearm and pay me for return shipping.

Storage Fees

There are no storage fees while waiting for you to pickup your firearm from me, but I do have a one year abandonment policy that starts from the time I receive the firearm. After one year I will consider the firearm abandoned, and it will enter into my possession.

I will also gladly store your NFA items while you are waiting for your paperwork to get approved.

Firearm Shipping

Selling a firearm out of state? I can ship your firearm for you! I will safely package your firearm in plenty of bubble wrap, then box it up, and ship it out for you insured, with signature required upon delivery.  My charge is 25.00 plus the cost of actual shipping. Contact me for a quote.
